How to Outsource Your Marketing

Seems like a simple concept but I see many business owners and CEOs of small businesses struggle with this.

The reality of today is we outsource entire departments — accounting, customer service, hr, tech support — so why not marketing?

I believe that outsourcing your marketing is an essential business strategy, particularly for small business.

Now, outsourcing doesn’t mean that you get to relinquish, step down, vacate, or abandon it.

Employing marketing resources to gain the greatest leverage possible is how you compete today, pure and simple.

If, however, you want to outsource anything in an effective manner you’ve got to do the work to create systems, processes, and routines that ensure a high-quality collaboration experience and a high-quality end product.

Again, you can outsource marketing, but you can never relinquish it to a hired gun.

You need to maintain tight control on strategy elements such as vision, business goals, ideal client targets, value propositions, messaging, and buying journeys.
