Recently had a conversation with the CEO of a well established Staffing Agency here in Virginia and the topic of knowing who your ideal client is was discussed.

This conversation led me to this 7 statement framework for guiding your marketing which ties together values, desires, goals, behavior, attitudes, and interests.

Identifying these things will save you from saying that your solution or service is for everyone, which means it’s for no one.

It really is a game-changer and here’s how I recommend getting started.

Start with saying: The ideal clients or prospects we seek to create awareness, educate, build trust, demonstrate expertise, and convert ….

1. Believe in things like this
2. Experience things like this
3. Say things like this
4. Read things like this
5. Listen to things like this
6. Search things like this
7. Behave in ways like this

Having answers to the statements above will allow you to effectively address their wants and needs in every interaction and communication.
