Your Marketing Must Be Developed and Installed

Most of the conversations that business owners and CEOs want to start with are about only playing 1/2 of the marketing game: the installing (tactics).

But for true marketing momentum, you need to be playing the development game as well.

For example, recently I had a discovery discussion with a local staffing firm that is eager to grow but has no real plan for how to accomplish it.

They presented me with a “marketing plan” made up of a list of activities and the costs.

But there is no overarching strategy that aligns these activities to their growth objectives.

They have even tried multiple marketing ideas from conversations with peers and tactics they have read about.

But what they need and what I discussed with the owner is a strategy and process that guides their use of marketing resources.

You need to play the development (strategy) and installation (tactics) game.
